Dr. Gary Huxford came to Oregon College of Education in 1961 after the completion of his M.A. degree from the University of Washington in 1959. He received his B.S. at Brigham Young University in 1957 and later received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 1963. Huxford left to join the faculty at Utah State University in 1966 but returned to Monmouth in 1969.
